Who we are, and acceptance
IQTests is an independent educational project offering a free online reasoning test. Using the site means you accept these terms, our privacy policy and our cookie policy. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the test.
Permitted use
You may take the test and read our content for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, resell access, or pass our material off as your own. Reasonable, ordinary use is all we ask.
Your result is an estimate, not a diagnosis
This is the important one. The score is an educational estimate of reasoning ability, produced by a short, unsupervised online test. It is not a clinical or psychological diagnosis, and it must not be used as the basis for medical, educational, employment, or legal decisions. For anything with real stakes, consult a licensed psychologist who can administer a full, supervised assessment. How the estimate is produced is documented on our methodology page.
Intellectual property
The site design, text, and original content are the property of IQTests unless stated otherwise. Underlying reasoning-item research belongs to its respective authors and publishers, which we credit where relevant.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and the test are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and we don’t guarantee that results are error-free or suited to any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IQTests is not liable for any loss arising from your use of — or reliance on — the test or its results.
Third-party links
We link to outside sources such as research bodies and reference sites for your convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or policies.
